CEO of Advanced AV, Michael Boettcher is responsible for the vision, direction, and overall performance of the company.
Boettcher has been with Advanced AV since 2000, when he took on the role of sales rep for the company and gained an inside look at the professional AV integration industry. He later moved to a more hands-on role in the service division, and developed that department into a profit center. Having thus acquired a comprehensive familiarity with how the company’s various departments operate, Boettcher was named president of Advanced AV in July of 2009.
Prior to joining Advanced AV, Boettcher worked in cable and print advertising sales, sports apparel, and the golf industry. He has always had a technical aptitude, and since entering the AV world has found motivation and inspiration in the personalities and attitudes of the people within it.
Boettcher has a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University, where he was a student athlete in the baseball program. He is an InfoComm member and an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS). In 2012, he was recognized as an “Industry Mover & Shaker” by the NSCA. Michael also serves on the Dealer Advisory Council for the USAV Group, the leading association of professional audio-visual (ProAV) integrators in the country.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John P. Greene manages and directs all tasks and responsibilities for Advanced AV account managers, sales engineers, and administrative sales staff for Advanced AV.
Greene brings particular dedication and insight to his technology and sales direction, as he has been actively involved in various aspects of the AV industry since 1979. His experience spans the areas of video, security and surveillance, broadcast technology, and a brief stint as a radio announcer at the start of his career.
Prior to rejoining Advanced AV last year, Greene held executive management positions with notable AV firms and video equipment manufacturers. Greene is an InfoComm member and an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Vice President of Technical Operations, Travis Lisk manages operations of the engineering department with the objective of ensuring that projects are issued for review on time. He is also heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the production department, working with project managers to assist in completing projects on time and under budget. In addition to these management roles, Lisk also has a hand in the maintenance of technology systems within Advanced AV’s headquarters facilities.
Beginning as a field installer with the company in 1998, Lisk has served as Service Coordinator and Technical and Quality Assurance Manager. Lisk also contributes to the enhancement of Advanced AV employees’ expertise through his work as Director of Technical Training.
Lisk is an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist – Installation (CTS-I) and teaches CTS Prep for InfoComm as part of their Academy Faculty.
